Hand-Written Letters to Congress are Most Effective
Please note that hand written letters from constituents seem to be the most effective form of communication with Capitol Hill. Note the story from NC below. I think we should encourage our folks to write these letters, bundle other letters from their friends and neighbors, and hand deliver them to local offices (www.senate.gov)

Protest Obama on his way to the Capitol on Sep. 9th!
If you will be in DC next Wednesday evening, we are asking everyone to line Pennsylvania Ave. between the White House and the Capitol building as Obama makes his way to the capitol to give his big speech on health care. Contact Josh Eboch if you can participate. jeboch@freedomworks.org

I was on the Vendor committee for the July 4th. Tea Party on the Spacecoast held in the Spacecoast Stadium in Viera Fl. This event had more than 3000 attending. The organizer was Matt Nye at spacecoastpolitics.com (321 626 9791) My first Tea Party was run by Lisa Fieoli from floridiansunite.com in Feb. at Lake Eola in Orlando. 3000 people attended . Both of these locations could host more than 10000 people. I marched with 35 folks from Melbourne and was proud to be part of the D.C. Freedom Rally . All the Best

Red Morpheus said… - I WAS THERE!! What an unbelievably inspiring and energizing day. Just amazing!! 1.5 to TWO MILLION PEOPLE, maybe more and the govt. controlled media report only thousands. RUBBISH
This has never happened before in the history of the Republic that this many patriots converged not only in Washington DC but in communities all across our country to demand that our government return to Constitutional principles of self rule by the people, limited government and self-determination.
The message is clear -we love our country; we love our Constitution; we love our freedoms and we won't let politicians and corrupt oligarchs demolish and usurp them any longer. Not only will we take back America from the statists but we will roll back the encroachments on our rights and freedoms that have increased over the last 90 plus years by an overweening government.
I loved the wonderful people I met -those that traveled with us by bus and at the 2 million fellow patriots at the event. I was blown away by their enthusiasm and passion; their resolve and COMMITMENT. I laughed and marveled too at many of their their extremely creative and cheeky, smart alecky signs.
I also marveled at our seniors who turned out in droves even though it was a physical struggle for many. I was so proud and moved by the many, many veterans who came to once again defend freedom! Shame on this administration for demeaning them as extremists.
My favorite moment was when the crowd began to chant in unison FREEDOM, FREEDOM and USA, USA. The hair stood up on the back of my neck as the sound of some 2 million voices surged through me. I'll never, never forget this day.
But much work remains ahead of us, we must be in this for the long haul.

Frank A. Dupree said… - Tens of thousands my foot!! My wife, son and I were on the Capitol Lawn and there had to ba at least 1 million people there. We stretched from the Capitol all the way to 8th Street NW. That's more than 60,000 people in my estimation.

- Michigan Patriots, A group of us (150+) from midMichigan will be gathering in the National Mall, grassy area between Smithsonian buildings, Madison and 14th Streets out in front of American History building.
