On the heels of election results this week, Obama/Pelosi quick rammed Obamacare through the house, 220-215. Here's the roll call vote:

If we can slow them down in the Senate would be good, and if they continue to be tone deaf to public opinion, let's make sure they hang themselves, and we try to undo the damage in 2010.

No your right Lisa. My count was off, I forgot about the Bush stimulus and TARP. Heck they are talking about another stimulus! I'm telling you Lisa he is trying to crush the current America which he hates, and get as many people to rely on Govt as possible. Then the Libs will re-make another America in thier own lazy, dependent imagine. In 10yrs the highlight of our month will be watching the mailman bring another 5 lb. block of Govt cheese each month!

Michael & Marilyn - you may be miscounting. We have already had what? Is it 2 or 3 stimulus packages? I know GWB did at least one, or was it two? I don't think I got and $$ so I lost count. Then TARP, then O's stimulus. So another stimulus would he at least three. My thoughts are, if they aren't goihg to turn over the unspend funds that are in the 787 Billion to pay down the deficit, because "we have turned the corner", then they could reallocate that money. Truth is we don't have the money for either. I would be afraid to allow them another spending bill because they allways chock-a-block it full of crap that doesn't help anyone except their special pet projects. They simply can't be trusted. Remember TARP?? How much of tha money went to buy the "troubled assets" that is was designed for?

Good evening everybody, I just got home from Houston. I went to the Tea Party Express Bus whistle stop and got to meet Johnathan. Jonathan, it was great to get t meet you in person I really enjoyed our converastions and look forward to having an opportunity to visit again. Hope the "AWI" cd's aren't too difficult to figure out. It was definatly confusing before I made the new lables.

Marilyn, they really will create some jobs with the second stimulus. The first one was for all the Dems pet projects like the NEA, ACORN, etc.
It was a good rally on the Capital steps last night, I'm going to guess 3,000-3,500 people showed up. This is my third rally, (San Antonio, DC, Austin) and maybe it's me but this time it seems I heard more talk like, "It doesn't matter if your a Democrat or Republican." Since nearly all Democrats are pro choice it definately matters to me and I think most, (not all) who come to these Rally's. We are only going to "possibly" get out of this mess with Conservative Smaller Govt values. We are on fire now, in 2010 many will run with an (R) by thier names just so they can wins. (it's all about holding on to power) However, many will govern like Lindsey and McCain. I want to know if in your heart you carry a big (C). I didn't trust mere Republicans anymore. NO RINO's NEED APPLY
Newt was dead wrong on the NY 23 race and he just barely could say he was sorry on Hannity. (and I mean barely) NO REAL CONSERVATIVE WOULD EVER SUPPORT A PRO CHOICE REPUBLICAN FOR ANY REASON!! When I see Newt on TV now he acts sort of like he's one of our Founding Father's, like he's above the Left and the Right. (I know I shouldn't be saying this)
I am a proud Conservative as was President Reagan. Newt wasn't the big deal in 1994 his "Contract with America" was the big deal! And we need another contract. It's time for Bold Colors. Last night several people were speaking and trying to earn our votes in the next election. All a Conservative wants to know is do you respect the Constitution and do you understand who you work for? I'm all for the Big Tent idea, as long as our tent doesn't look anything like the tent that President Obama's putting up now.

I really wish I could go. I have to work until 3 p.m. though. If anyone is hanging around until around 4 I could meet up afterwards, but I suspect you'll all be headed home by then. Have fun!

Now Democrats are talking about another stimulus bill that would guarantee State's debt! California got itself into this mess and I refuse to bail them out too! What kind of lunatics are running this country??
